Our aim

Soccer development is not only objective of Al Ettifaq Club. Our aim is to teach our players starting from U8 to First team the vision of our program which is to combine soccer, school and religion. Further goals include development of :

Team spirit
How to deal with constructive feedback
Respect for teammate, coaches and opponent
Positive attitude for sessions and games
Professional and courteous attitude on and off the field

Technical Training


Up to and including the U11 juniors the focus will be on general technical training of the player. In U8 and 9, ball skills become the primary focus. Players practice their first touch, passing and small feints. Training focuses on individual technical skills and basic techniques. From the U12 to the U14 juniors training is increasingly focused on specific positions and techniques. Priorities include:

  • Basic techniques under increased opponent pressure

  • Bicycle kick

  • Cruijff Turn

From the U15 juniors complex technical exercises become more complex involving tactical operations. Basic techniques are automated under stronger opponent pressure including the implementation of previously acquired skills at the highest speed of play and the promotion of technology position through special training in small groups. players will be technically ready for the transition to senior level.

1Tactical Training
In general basic tactical excercises are introduced at the E-youth level which include basic defensive and offensive tackles, groups tactics on small fields.. Between U12 and U14 tactical offensive and defensive skills are refined and players are introduced to team tactical elements (focus position game). The power range is used, inter alia, the training of the team's tactical approach, the speed of action and the game tempo and tactical preparation for the transition to the senior level.
the focus of tactical training (at youth level) is through training and competition in the following ways:
  • flexible tactical behaviour
  • remedy the offside trap
  • high game pace
  • Switching  (Defensive Offensive, Offensive Defensive) o zonal marking in defence and midfield area
  • Pressing
  • group and team tactical behaviours
  • tackles
  • action quickness in tight spaces
  • Training of counterattack game increased (against extremely tough opponents play)
  • attention in any game situation
2Coordination and Athletism
Al Ettifaq will offer training concepts that include the technical and tactical component, coordination and speed range. Under the leadership of David Martinez , qualified Physical Coach who is already working with junior footballers from the U8 youth age-appropriate training in coordination and fitness will be developed. The training takes place two to three times per week in 15 to 45 minutes sessions. The offer can be available for single players at any time. The Individual Training is part of the standard program of each week.
3Goalkeeper Training
The Club values goal keeper training. Three coaches work with the different age groups once per week on basic range, and three times per week on specific performance areas. Fernando (First Team GK-Coach)), with name ? (full-time), and Name? is responsible for these training sessions.  Training priorities are:

4Header Training
Even the head ball training is considered important at Al Ettifag. In charge of the pendulum training is coach ?. The former Ettifaq-Player, who was himself known for its very good heading ability, his experience to give further at the Ettifaq  juniors. Three times a week he trains the heading ability of selected players of the U19 to U14 youth with fun. It is trained not only on the shuttle system newly created, also on the training ground a lot of game situations and forms of play are practice.
